GOMMEA Annual Meeting November 17 – Join us!
Be a part of the solution for preventing and removing marine debris in the Gulf of Maine
Join us Friday, November 17 to hear from NOAA Marine Debris Program, industry leaders, and student leaders on how to prevent and remove marine debris in the Gulf of Maine:
- The Gulf of Maine Lobster Foundation (GOMLF) will showcase their two year project funded by the NOAA Marine Debris Program, “Tracking Marine Debris Transport: An Education and Outreach Project to Enhance Stewardship and Prevention Behaviors in the Gulf of Maine.”
- Students from the Youth Summit (to be held before the GOMMEA meeting) will be presenting their local action plans and asking community members for input and support.
- Industry leaders such as the Rozalia Project will be around the room to meet and chat about their work. We invite you to register as an exhibitor and share your work for this networking event.
Who? Anyone connected to the Gulf of Maine watershed who is concerned about marine debris.
Where? Seacoast Science Center, 570 Ocean Boulevard, Rye NH 03870.
Admission is $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Refreshments and snacks will be available but dinner will not be provided. Exhibit space is available for organizational members (or $50 for non-members) who want to share project/organization information.
