Registration options and details


Option 1: REGISTER FOR THE FULL WEEK:

Full Week Registration includes all of the below events each day, and is only $375 if you register by May 30.

After that date registration is $425.

The full week registration does not cover cost of Thursday Field Trips.

To Register: Go to the Online form . From here you may pay by credit card online, or print out the form and mail it, with check, money order, or purchase order, to the address on the form. Please make checks payable to "USM Department of Conferences."

We encourage everyone to register for the full week of the conference! If you do, all special events are included in your registration. Full week registrants will be given first choice of our two space challenged events the Museum of Art evening and the funky Chicken sunset cruise. In addition, you receive morning breakfasts, mid-day lunch, and an exciting array of dynamic speakers and concurrent sessions.

Full Week Registration includes:

MONDAY July 23~ *A Welcome to the Downeast Dinner, and the Stegner Concert with "Schooner Fare."

TUESDAY July 24: Breakfast, Lunch, University of Maine's wonderful Dr. Bob Steneck, all speakers and concurrent sessions, including a planned special visit by Roger Payne. Also, coffee breaks and snacks, dinner, and an incredible underwater visual journey with National Geographic Photographer Bill Curtsinger at the stunning Portland Musuem of Art. We'll have the museum all to ourselves for the evening. Plus a chance to dance! (please note Tuesday's special event is limited to the first 400 registrants)

WEDNESDAY July 25: Breakfast, lunch, an inspirational theater performance by actress Kaiulani Lee, all speakers and concurrent sessions, coffee breaks and snacks and a late in the day beachside LOBSTER fest! (Your choice of lobster, eggplant parmesan (or no cheese), or half BBQ chicken)

THURSDAY July 26: Late in the day Exhibitor buffet and cocktail event, dinner, the NMEA auction and Dance party. (During the day will be field trips, or Portland and vicinity on your own.)

FRIDAY July 27: Breakfast, lunch, Swordfish Boat Captain and best-selling author Linda Greenlaw, all speakers and concurrent sessions, coffee breaks and snacks, the grand finale gathering of the NMEA Clan, sidesplitting Downeast humor with Tim Sample, and the funky Chicken sunset Cruise! (limited to the first 275 registrants)

Please note that every effort is being made to make each meal we offer both vegan and vegetarian friendly. Breakfasts are simple but with a variety of healthful choices.

Option 2: REGISTER FOR ONE OR MORE INDIVIDUAL DAYS:

Individual day registrations are available at a cost of $150 per day and include the evening events (subject to availability).
